yes...... its absolutely true..........
its bcos " A guy was there who was upset with his entire life to see all companies reject him. He was trying his best for sure but nothing seems to be working for him. Ocassionally he gets shortlisted but he mumbles in the interview to make a big mockery of whatever that is prepared for interview. This guy was having a big dream and was extremely confident to get in to a dream company without any doubts. But as time went by it appeared like his dream is goin to end in tragedy. And also during that time he was affected by chicken pox. That was the time oracle is about to come for campus interview."
This guy is not going to complain against chicken pox any time as its considered a holy occasion and he beleives in it too(NOW). He was unwilling to sit and let it go in front of his own eys. And with chicken pox he goes to college to attend the campus selection process inspite of whatever embarassment that is waiting. He goes to college in Auto with his mother. Meets his friend S.balaji. And later it was announced that oracle campus recruitment is postponed.
Happily he returns back. This guy atlast writes an off campus selection program in some school for aricent. yet again there were lot of analytical and apptidute questions that he found no answers but he does C progamming section beautifully. And thats what counted that day. Yes, he gets shortlisted that day. AHHHH what an unbelivable surprise !!!!.
This guy prepares day in and out for aricent interview . he had more than one week time and he does prepares all the time. A new stream of confidence seems to spring up.
finally the interview day comes and he has a HR round first unusually. He does it in a rocking way . Without any tension this time. And he was so happy. The next day evening he was going For IV in collge to kerala. At some 11 AM he suddenly receives a call to come for technical interview and he has all the pressure on him suddenly. He goes that , he still remembers , he was interviewed by safin, Unfortunately he receives a lot of question that were uncomfortable .
He justs makes another mockery. But it was like a 50-50 kind of interview. He speaks to niranjan who gives a lot of hope and confidence. And it seems like that little hope " that aricent may select me has gone a long way in changing my life in a BIG way".
U wonder why ???? Aricent never revealed the results of that interview :-) .Yesss
When * came for recruitment he was kind of cool and casual that he have a backup (aricent)
And so everything went fine about the interview and W000W i got selected. A huge relief for me. And i started feeling easy.
Then came the oracle later some day. The previous day he went for night show "Unnalae unnalae" night show. Thats how he was bothered about the oracle visit :). He came in the morning expecting that oracle might come. But actually he have to come for his project anyway.
He attended the written test and it was the best he has written(bcos not aptitude or analytical questions and only some technical questions) and he wrote the code to find the "nth largest element in a binary tree " in full flow and he expected to get selected but to his surprise he was informed that he was not selected(He was actually very disappointed :-( )
But anyway he has his own project work to bother about and so he left it without much worry. He was walking towards canteen to have lunch. That time a voice came from arvi " dei harish u dint prepare to go for interview ? dont you know you are shortlisted ?" and his heart beat peaked to its limits . quickly he had my lunch with butterflies in my stomach eating the most of the food. But one thing he can say is he was confident facing the interview. Anyways the pressure was definitely there on him.
He returned to muthu room and quickly readied himself for interview. And his great project mates were very helpful and understanding. He went to SQC for interview. And Had 3 lovely rounds of interview. He was surprised to see himself so well in interview. He returned back to the room for continuing with the project work but he was thrilled for sure for whatever has happened so far to him. Particularly his 3rd round was amazing. He was suddenly called for another round of interview. And guess what it was HR round. But he was too casual and cool in HR round that he got a lot of bulbs from HR. OH no ...... all the good work is gone in one small but crucial mistake. But anyway 99/100 times people called for HR round gets selected and He was on top of the world. He come back to canteen he orders for dosa but nothing seems to go inside out of unbelievable happiness. Its like a shock . The entire day he dint inform his parents that he attended interviews and all . He planing for a big surprise for his parents . Just waiting for the results to be out. And the fateful results came and only 3 it seems were selected. Until that time he was so confident to get through. This again was a shock but in other direction. "Oh my god whats happening " was the question of the day. he went speechless
the reality has hit him hard once again at the back of his head.
And for the next few months he was re pending himself for the mistakes he did in HR round. He couldn't digest the fact that he was not selected after he came Milli meter close to selection. But he was proud of himself for whatever he had done so far. And he slowly developed to live a life far from reality. Yes I don't know if that is a disease or mental desire or whatever. He used to dream dream and dream all the time like as if he was selected because just dreaming about it gave him lot of happiness.
He goes for a trip after finishing his holidays to Darjeeling and Gangtok. And while he was in gangtok he called up his parents just to convey about his whereabouts and how is darjeeling. And an unbelievable surprise was waiting. His parent told him that he got a call from oracle that they are willing to hire me based on interview conducted during the campus selection. And i need not tell how happy he would be. Until that time he was not too impressed with the tour. But from there on he was swimming in a ocean of dream. He got bumps from his friends for oracle offer. He gave treat there too. WoW what an amazing tour.!!!!
He returned back and it appeared as if the "offer was not confirmed " and ah man .
its again going to be a disappointment ??? He had * offer in his hand . but it appeared as if it will take a longer time to process the offer . He had no choice than to join that company. He was kind of ok there. But his heart was on oracle. He always believed the words of anshul . And Yessss the offerletter finally arrived in the end of November and ah man i guess i wasnt as happy ever before.

And yeah i have extended this blog more than what i should. And now its understandable that i have a apt title for this post which means -"dream come true for first time" . And i am sure for me most of the justifiable and reasonable dreams have come true. But this one was toooo special. I LOVE YOU GOD .
